However, it's not enough to have your own product made, in order to get sales you have to have a strong sales page that converts well and convinces your visitor that you're product is the best one out there. They need to feel that irresistible desire to have your product, so your sales page must easily convert them into a buyer.

Here are some tips to producing a well converting sales page website:

Never use long-winded paragraphs. Paragraphs that are too big make it too difficult for people to read. One of the things you want to realize is that in order to captivate and get them to start reading your sales page, you need to pull them into your copy. And starting off with a big paragraph is going to be a huge mistake that's going to stop people from even reading it at all. So, you'll want to pull them in with a few short paragraphs that are compelling and engaging. Perhaps you could start off with your first line and then moving down and breaking the rest of your paragraphs into fewer sentences. This makes it both easier on the eyes, and still engaging for your reader.

Using testimonials in yellow boxes throughout your sales page - or midway though helps a lot as well. Having that extra proof that your product has worked for real people, can help to increase your conversions and ultimately your sales. So, doing that would really help out a lot.

Another good thing that you can do to break up your paragraphs is to use sub-heads. Sub-headlines are good because they state your main message within a few words. And it allows you give the reader a brief introduction as to what the paragraph that follows is about.

Content and how it is laid out, is not the only important thing that you have to worry about on your sales page. Using visual aids is crucial! People like visuals, and by showing them a picture of what the product they are thinking of purchasing looks like, it will give them a better idea as to what they're getting. You could use this with a coaching program or any other type of product or service that you're offering. If you have DVD giveaways, or dvds packaged in a complete learning program, why not show this to your website visitor! By allowing your prospect to see what they may be getting, this adds more value to your offer, while also increasing your conversion rate.

You also need to always state the price of your product offering clearly on your sales page. People don't like surprises, nor do people want to feel as though you are tricking them or holding information back. After all, in order to get the sale, most web site owners must work at gaining the trust of their visitors. So, state everything upfront. State the price a couple of times. It's often a good idea to even state the price at the beginning, and then state it again in later on. That is going to be huge in helping to convert your reader. It's a good idea to also create a box restating exactly what the pricing is at the end as well.

Another key tip to making the sale is stating what's inside the program or product that you're offering.

State the benefits so that this encourages your prospect to buy. Let them know how much easier their lives will be with your product. For example, if you were offering a program on how to take the best photos to grab new clients, you could say something like; "Here's what you'll find inside this program... exactly how to take killer photos using the right lens so that will have your phone ringing off the hook..." See how powerful this can be! You're stating exactly what they will learn by using your program. This gives your program value and makes it a unique offer. Focus on benefit-driven things and that will help out a lot.

Branding - what, when, who, how, why? You'll want to answer these questions: So what's so good about that? Define the features of your product, and then put the features inside your sales letter too. So, make bullet points of the benefits of what your potential buyer will get by purchasing your product. Use five to eight benefit-driven bullet points, because an odd number of bullets seem to convert better. Also make sure that when you're creating your bullets, that you want to have one bold, one not bold, another one bold, not bold etc. Do this so that it's easier on the eyes of your reader, while also making the benefits of your product to stand out. You need to expand upon these bullet points that you have as well and get into a bit more detail as to what your buyer will be getting.

Taking the time to properly and strategically lie out your sales page, will not only gain you a loyal following, but it will also help you to improve your sales!

In part one of this article series titled: "No Cost Advertising," I spoke about the importance of posting on forums in order to advertise your website at no cost to you. However, now I'd like to add some more no cost advertising methods that you can use to increase your popularity in your given marketplace.
One of the most effective free advertising methods outside of posting in forums is writing articles. So, combining forum posting and article writing together, is going to be the best advertising tactic for your website. But in doing your article marketing, you will also require five things in order to make your articles acceptable to the search engines and article directory websites. One, you're going to need a title. Two, you're going to need to have a summary. Three, you're going to need to have the content. Four, you want to have a bio or resource box. Your bio/resource box is the key for you to get traffic. In the bio/resource box, don't just say, "Hey, my name is Sean and I [do this] and I have known about [this information] or [this stuff] for ten years and..." Whatever you do, never create a bio/resource box like this or you'll never get anyone to click on your link to learn more about you and your business.
What you want to do in your bio/resource box is said, "Hey, if you want more information about things just like this, go here," and place your websites like. By doing this, you're driving them back to your sales page or your opt-in page, while gaining more traffic to your website and a following of people who are naturally interested in what you have to say.
If you get good at writing articles you would be amazed at the effectiveness of article directory sites such as this one. I have students that are making over $10,000 a month just by doing articles alone. They actually have no other traffic strategy. That's all they focus on is articles. So, just get good at the basics, keep your focus and don't allow yourself to get distracted. You may find that is all you really need to finally make a living online. You don't have to get it right; you've just got to get started and get going. So do one article to start and then the next one's going to be done better and quicker then your first article. You're also going to learn different things from doing them. But just really focus on getting so many done now. 6 Must Have Free Tools For The Newbie Internet Marketer By Andi Leeman

When starting to learn Internet Marketing or creating your own products and you are short of any spare cash there are 6 free tools that I recommend. You can move onto better paid software if you want however I recommend these few to start with... which I still use today.
  1. Freecorder Tool Bar... A downloadable software that allows you to record many of those 'soon to be taken down' webinar or video replays so you can keep and watch whenever you want. You can learn quite a bit from these pre sales videos and webinars!
  2. Google Mail... with a Gmail account you get Google docs which has free Powerpoint, and Excel style programmes with Google doing the storage. Not only does it save you buying any programmes but should your computer crash you have them saved on a separate server. Ideal for password sheet, which is best not stored on your computer anyway.
  3. Screenr .screenr.com... this is by twitter and is great if you want to make 5 min videos like tutorials. It records what you are doing on your monitor. It is an online software and free to use, you can upload directly to YouTube and Twitter from here.
  4. Windows Live Movie Maker... Again this is free to download and is great to make your films longer, add pics. and videos to create longer videos. You can upload straight to YouTube and Facebook from here.
  5. Audacity... This software needs to be downloaded and is ideal for recording audio projects like podcasts. You will need to download an extension to work with this to convert your audio files into mp3 format. For some reason Audacity needs this extension, it cannot legally give it to you as part of Audacity however it is also free to download and use.
  6. Wordpress... I have played around with different free web design software to build websites but have found the easiest system is to use the Wordpress blogging platform. It can be installed onto your hosting account. You will need to pay for your hosting (unless you use wordpress.com) but building and using the Wordpress system is free and very simple. You can create great professional looking websites with Wordpress and its plug-ins.
Using these free tools will give you a great start into internet marketing. They can allow you to build sites, video and audio tutorials or podcasts, membership sites and information products that you can charge for without the expense that most business start ups require.
